The carver working along the length of the stone, faces beginning to show

Commissions

A commissioned sculpture is made for one place. We manage it with the artist from the first conversation to installation, and document every stage.

For architects and designers

  1. 1

    Brief

Tell us about the space, the scale, the setting and any artist you have in mind. Photographs and plans help.

  2. 2

    Feasibility

We take the brief to the artist and confirm what is possible in stone, at what size and over what period.

  3. 3

    Proposal

The artist proposes the form. Larger works usually begin with a drawing or small study for your approval.

  4. 4

    Agreement

A written agreement sets the price, payment stages, timeline, delivery terms and what happens if anything changes.

  5. 5

    Making

We photograph the work as it is carved and share progress with you. This becomes the making record.

  6. 6

    Placement

You approve the finished work before it is crated. We coordinate delivery and installation guidance and hand over the full record.
